The Gravel & Grind mobile coffee trailer at an outdoor event in East Yorkshire
About Gravel & Grind

More than mobile coffee. A place to pause, connect and reset.

Gravel & Grind is a premium mobile coffee and recovery hub created for cycling, sport, outdoor, workplace and community settings. We bring quality coffee, a distinctive lifestyle brand and a welcoming social focal point to the places where people naturally gather.

What We Are

Not just another mobile coffee retailer.

Gravel & Grind combines quality barista-made coffee, a visually distinctive premium trailer and a cycling and outdoor lifestyle identity into a single, self-contained mobile operation powered by renewable energy sources. We can operate fully independently and off grid, with no generators or LPG. Zero noise, zero emissions, zero carbon from operation.

We are not trying to offer an oversized catering menu or compete as a generic food trailer. Gravel & Grind is deliberately focused: quality coffee, efficient service and a memorable customer experience. The result is a coffee offer that complements an event or venue rather than simply occupying a pitch.

The service is flexible — suitable for public events, private bookings and recurring locations — and our approach is built around the host's objectives, not just our own.

Why It Works

What Gravel & Grind brings to your location.

01

Atmosphere and dwell time.

A quality coffee stop gives visitors a reason to pause, stay longer, talk and engage with the wider event or venue. People linger. Conversations start. The experience improves.

02

A natural meeting point.

The trailer acts as a focal point for riders, runners, walkers, colleagues, families and spectators — a place where people naturally gather before, during and after an activity.

03

A distinctive visitor experience.

The premium outdoor-lifestyle identity creates a stronger impression than an anonymous catering unit. Gravel & Grind is designed to be noticed, remembered and talked about.

04

Minimal demand on the host.

Gravel & Grind is a compact, self-contained operation with its own equipment and portable battery power. Site-specific access, waste, water and operational requirements are always agreed in advance.

05

Partnership, not just pitch rental.

We can support host promotions, group rides, staff events, launches, community activities and selected co-branded opportunities — working toward the host's objectives, not just our own.

The Difference

Coffee with a purpose.

Why choose us? Because Gravel & Grind is built around a specific audience, a specific culture and a specific kind of experience. We want to provide good quality coffee and conversation powered by renewable energy sources. That focus is what makes the difference.

Create the social coffee stop around the activity while the host retains the customer relationship and benefits from increased visits and dwell time.

Community venues and recurring pitches.

Sports grounds · village halls · community events · business parks · carefully selected private sites

Bring people together and activate a location through a professionally managed, mutually beneficial recurring service.

The Process

Simple to explore. Carefully planned.

Initial conversation.

We discuss the audience, proposed date or frequency, expected attendance, operating window and what success would look like for the host. No obligation at this stage.

Site and event review.

We confirm access, trailer position, surface and space, other traders, permissions, waste arrangements, operating times and any power or water availability.

Booking or controlled pilot.

For recurring locations, we can agree a limited number of trial sessions and review customer demand and host benefits before discussing a longer-term arrangement.

Gravel & Grind plans carefully and does not expect a host to accept an undefined commitment. Commercial arrangements depend on the event, audience, expected attendance and operating requirements, and can always be discussed without obligation.

The Story

Created from a love of coffee, cycling and the places between destinations.

Gravel & Grind was created from a simple observation: some of the best rides, walks, outdoor gatherings and community locations lack somewhere genuinely good to stop. East Yorkshire has exceptional countryside — quiet chalk lanes through the Wolds, coastal paths above Flamborough, woodland tracks that most people never find — but the infrastructure for a proper break has rarely matched the quality of the landscape.

The aim is to build a mobile coffee experience that combines good coffee, outdoor culture, human connection and a strong sense of place — a more thoughtful alternative to generic mobile catering, designed for the people and places that deserve better.

Gravel & Grind is rooted in East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, and is preparing to serve cycling, sport, outdoor, workplace and community events across the region and beyond.

“The coffee may be what brings people to the trailer. The pause, conversation and sense of connection are what make Gravel & Grind memorable.”
