Built for riders. Powered by coffee.
Gravel roads, woodland tracks, retro steel bikes and the kind of club ride that ends with everyone standing around a mobile café. This is what we're about.
"The mobile café started because we kept finishing rides in the middle of nowhere with no coffee. We fixed that."
What We're About
The kind of riding that reminds you why you started.
Gravel roads and quiet tracks.
Farm lanes, bridleways, chalk paths through the Wolds — the kind of surfaces that slow you down just enough to notice where you are. No traffic, no pressure, just you and the bike.
Woodland routes and tree cover.
There's something about riding through trees that resets everything. Forge Valley, Dalby, the plantation tracks above Scarborough — shaded, rooty, a bit unpredictable. Brilliant.
A nod to retro MTB.
We grew up on steel hardtails and muddy trails. That spirit — curious, unhurried, not taking itself too seriously — is baked into everything we do. Old bikes welcome. New bikes welcome. Any bike welcome.
Club rides and solo resets.
Some days you want the chat and the group. Other days you need two hours alone with your thoughts and a good playlist. Both are valid. The mobile café is there either way.
The coffee stop as ritual.
Not a fuel stop. Not a quick break. A proper pause — hands wrapped around a cup, legs resting, the ride still warm in your muscles. That moment is what we're here for.
The Community
Show up on whatever you ride. You'll fit right in.
Any bike, any pace.
Gravel bike, hardtail, hybrid, e-bike, steel tourer from 1987. It doesn't matter. We've never once asked what groupset someone's running. We just make the coffee.
No egos at the mobile café.
Cycling can get a bit serious. We're not interested in that. The mobile café is a level playing field — everyone gets the same flat white and the same conversation.
Ride your own ride.
No membership, no minimum distance, no Strava segment to beat. Come with a group or come alone. Stay for one coffee or two. The only rule is that you enjoy it.
Routes
Four rides worth getting out of bed for.
East Yorkshire has some of the quietest, most rewarding riding in the country — gravel tracks, woodland loops, coastal paths and long flat lanes with nothing but sky. These are four routes we keep coming back to.
The Wolds Loop
ModerateA classic circuit through the Yorkshire Wolds — rolling chalk hills, wide skies and very little traffic. Starts and finishes in Driffield. We're usually parked at the halfway point.
Coast & Cliff
ChallengingFlamborough Head to Filey along the cliff tops. Shorter but punchy — the views are worth every metre of climbing. Best on a clear morning.
The Vale Spin
EasyA flatter route through the Vale of York — ideal for longer days or when you want to cover ground without the hills. Quiet roads, big skies, good legs required.
Forge Valley Circuit
ModerateA shorter loop through Forge Valley and the North York Moors fringe. Dense woodland, stream crossings and a proper descent to finish. Great for a quick blast.
Routes are suggestions, not guided rides. Always check conditions before you go, carry a map and let someone know your plan. We'll be at the end with a flat white ready.
"The best part of any ride is the bit at the end."
Gravel, woodland, lane or trail — we'll be parked up at the finish.
