A quiet moment outdoors in the East Yorkshire countryside
Wellbeing Hub

Go outside. Everything else can wait.

Fresh air, movement, a proper break and someone to talk to. We're a mobile café — but we've seen what that combination does to people, and we think it's worth building a day around.

"Get outside. Move. Talk to someone. Have a decent coffee. That's it. That's the whole thing."

The Reset

Four simple things that make a real difference.

Fresh air changes your head.

Not metaphorically. Being outside in moving air — away from a desk, a screen, a meeting room — shifts something. Most people feel it within twenty minutes. It doesn't require a long ride or a big effort.

Movement that doesn't feel like exercise.

A gentle ride through open countryside doesn't feel like a workout. It feels like going somewhere. That's the point. Your body moves, your breathing deepens, and your mind follows without being told to.

Conversation that actually happens.

Side by side on a bike, or standing around a mobile café with a coffee — people talk differently than they do across a table. Less performance, more honesty. It's one of the quieter benefits of this kind of day.

A break that actually breaks.

Eating a sandwich at your desk isn't a break. Stepping outside, going somewhere, stopping for a proper coffee and coming back twenty minutes later — that's a break. The difference is noticeable.

How We Think About It

No jargon. No programme. Just get out there.

Works for any group.

Colleagues who barely know each other, a community group, a club ride, a team that needs a different kind of day. The mobile café and the outdoors do the work — you just have to show up.

No kit required.

You don't need to be a cyclist. A walk, a slow ride on a borrowed bike, a wander along a track — the point is being outside and away from the usual environment. The coffee is waiting at the end.

Better than a meeting room.

Some of the most useful conversations happen when people are moving, not sitting. If you're planning a team day, a community event or a workplace wellbeing session — being outside changes the dynamic completely.

How It Works

What it looks like in practice.

01

A team that needed a different kind of day.

We've turned up at corporate away days and watched people who'd been in back-to-back meetings all week visibly decompress within an hour of being outside. No agenda required. Just space, movement and a good coffee.

02

A community group finding its feet.

Some of the best conversations we've heard have happened at the mobile café — between people who didn't know each other an hour earlier. There's something about a shared ride and a warm cup that makes talking easier.

03

A solo rider who just needed to think.

Not every wellbeing day is a group event. Sometimes it's one person, a quiet route and two hours away from everything. We're there for that too — no questions asked, just a good flat white at the end.

04

A workplace that made it a habit.

The groups that get the most out of this aren't the ones who do it once. It's the ones who build it into the rhythm — a monthly ride, a regular stop, something to look forward to. That's when it really sticks.

"An hour outside is worth three hours in a meeting room."

We'll be parked up. The coffee will be ready. The rest is up to you.
